Richard and Jang  
Richard was born in Wales, brought up in Australia and now calls Phuket home since 2004. Having travelled extensively and working in all areas within hospitality Richard is a jack of all trades allowing him to gain a solid understanding of the food and beverage industry including cooking , bar service, silver service, prep, management, functions, weddings, corporate events and website/graphic design.




Working in some of Londons and Sydneys most infamous restaurants he has had the pleasure of serving the who’s who of the world including Bill Gates,  Elle Macpherson, David Beckham, Samuel L Jackson, Michael Jordan, Kate Winslet, Rupert Murdoch, Arsenal football club and screamed at by Marco Pierre White.


Jang has worked at Rockfish for almost 7 years and assists with every aspect of the restaurant including HR, marketing, accounting, training and has the ability to read a situation and resolve issues quickly.

Jang has an effortless style that you can see around Rockfish and will be the main designer for any wedding or event themes , flowers or other services you require. She is personable, friendly and her natural charm helps in negotiating good prices with suppliers and services yet expects nothing else but the best.

Pui has worked at Rockfish for over 6 years and worked her way through the ranks to become a very talented chef with an amazing sense of taste. The 5 flavours used in Thai cooking; sweet, bitter, sour, salty & spicy require the right balance which Pui seems to have perfected with many Thais proclaiming her tom yum goong is the best they have tasted. Thats a pretty big compliment.  Her sauces are delicious and is always happy to make any special requests you  have, but always with her special  touch.

Hem is a multi talented chef capable of cooking anything, anywhere with enthusiasm and passion. He can cook breakfast for 25 people with no help and still smile, prepare a 10 course meal in a tiny kitchen with minimum equipment and cook lobster on a private beach with a storm blowing. Hem will be your head chef for any outside catering so you can be assured that the food will be tasty, fast and with a smile.
